My name is Aya-Karin Thorgren. I grew up in Stockholm, Sweden and in the early 90,s, I was an athletic model for prestigious Eileen Ford and IMG doing the fashion shows out of the Louvre in Paris, France for well-known designers like Kenzo, Issey Miyake, Armani, Chanel, Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld, Hermes, Comme des Garcons, Yohij Yamamoto, Versace, Sonia Rykiel, Calvin Klein and many more. I was seen in Revlon, L’Oreal and CoverGirl Campaigns, Versace and Armani, Benetton, Calvin Klein, Banana Republic, GAP and Esprit Campaigns and international magazines like Vogue, Marie-Claire, Elle, Allure, Glamour, and Sports Illustrated with great photographers like Aldo Fallai, Richard Avedon, Bruce Weber, Tyen, Sacha, Phillip Newton and many more.

1991 I bought my first property in Costa Rica on the Nicoya Peninsula and I know that I was guided because 20 years later I am aware of that I did a great thing to move to the safest Central American country, into a blue zone area with the highest biodiversity in the World making it an amazing place for any botanist, ornithologist, ocean fanatic and environmentalist while providing the action of an international community with just as many diverse nationalities living united by the bond of Pura Vida (Pure Life) that we all had searched for in our travels, the perfectly peaceful place to recharge in, a country well known for healing and making humans feel better just by being in its high energetic vibration, what some people would call chi or qi (life energy, lifeforce, or energy flow).

I helped to inspire the founding of the AsociaciĆ³n de Desarrollo de Cabuya (ADICA) in 2004 and have been working closely with the Intendente of Cobano, Sr Eladio Cortez, the Arias Foundation via Laura Chinchilla (President of Costa Rica) giving counsel on environmental matters. I am also very involved in the artistic and creative department of local school projects, like the Del Mar Project Montessori KIndergarten by Rocio Vargas at Playa Hermosa Valley School, the best International School in the area, owned by Canadians and providing bilingual teachers and guidance for the best homeschooling programs from any country in the World.

I met Carlos Solana the spring of 2012 and I find the idea of mixing modern design with nature fantastic, creating these amazing pure contrasts, high living standards in the midst of the wildlife and of course the rustic wood design that brings comfort on the inside but being almost invisible from the outside, a great alternative for those who opt for warmth.

What I can do for You within this project is provide your house with nontoxic everything, “a greenhouse “, so that you can live in a perfectly pure environment that is healthy for You and your Family thus making you an aware and super conscious consumer, a true inspiration for others to follow! I can also make your very own Paradise” biodiversity garden ” with all the organic foods, medicinals, ornamentals, aromatherapeutic, and hardwood trees that you would need for Life and generations to come.
